Not Every Relationship Needs Someone to Be Wrong
Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you knew something wasn't right, but you weren't quite sure how to make it right?
Perhaps someone said something that hurt you.
Maybe a misunderstanding created distance between you and someone you love.
Perhaps you were treated unfairly, blamed for something you didn't do, or found yourself in a relationship where you were constantly giving more than you received.
Or maybe you've been holding on to something from the past, waiting for someone to acknowledge what happened, apologize, or simply recognize your side of the story.
Relationships can be some of our greatest teachers.
They can bring us tremendous love, joy, and fulfillment.
But they can also reveal where we are holding judgments, resentment, disappointment, or feelings of injustice.
And sometimes, in our desire to restore peace, we forget that true harmony and simply keeping the peace are not always the same thing.
This week, I'd like to introduce you to an Archangel who can help us understand that difference.
Meet Archangel Raguel
Archangel Raguel is known as the Angel of Justice, Fairness, Harmony, and Redemption.
He is also one of the Archangels who works with the beautiful Violet Ray of Transmutation.
The colors associated with Raguel are purple, aquamarine, and pale blue.
Raguel can assist us with:
Justice and fairness
Harmony and balance
Redemption and reconciliation
Bringing clarity and Divine Order to chaotic situations
Restoring balance within relationships
Understanding and working with spiritual laws
As an Archangel associated with the Violet Ray, Raguel can also help us recognize and transmute the judgments and emotional energies that may be keeping us bound to past experiences.
And one of the things I love about working with the Violet Ray is that it doesn't simply help us feel better about a situation.
It can help us transform the energy we've been holding around it.
Harmony Doesn't Mean Pretending Everything Is Fine
Have you ever heard someone say, "Just let it go"?
Or perhaps, "Be the bigger person."
Or “Do you want to be right or have peace?”
Sometimes that's wonderful advice.
But sometimes we interpret those words to mean we should overlook what happened, suppress our feelings, or pretend that something wasn't hurtful or unfair.
And that isn't necessarily healing.
Harmony doesn't require us to deny our experiences.
It doesn't mean accepting mistreatment.
It doesn't mean abandoning our boundaries.
And it certainly doesn't mean that someone else's behavior suddenly becomes acceptable simply because we've chosen to forgive them.
True harmony begins with truth.
We can acknowledge that something was unfair without allowing that injustice to define the rest of our lives.
We can recognize that someone hurt us without continuing to carry the pain.
And we can forgive someone without inviting them back into our lives.
Forgiveness and reconciliation are not always the same thing.
Sometimes harmony is restored within a relationship.
Other times, harmony is restored within ourselves when we release the need for that relationship to become something it cannot be.
The Judgments That Keep Us Bound
One of the beautiful qualities of the Violet Ray is its ability to assist us in recognizing and transmuting judgment.
Think about a time when someone treated you unfairly.
Maybe it happened years ago.
You might have moved on physically.
You might no longer speak to that person.
You may even believe you've forgiven them.
But what happens when you think about the experience?
Does your body tighten?
Do you feel anger, sadness, resentment, or disappointment?
Do you find yourself replaying the conversation, imagining what you wish you had said?
If so, there may still be an energetic or emotional attachment to the experience.
And here's something important:
You don't have to continue carrying the pain to honor the truth of what happened.
The Violet Ray can assist us in transmuting the cause, core, effect, record, and memory of the lower frequencies we've been holding.
We don't need to erase the wisdom we've gained.
We don't need to forget the lessons.
But we can release the emotional weight that has accompanied them.
And this is one of the beautiful ways Raguel can assist us.
Not Every Relationship Needs Someone to Be Wrong
Sometimes we become so focused on proving that we're right that we lose sight of what we truly want.
We want to be understood.
We want to be respected.
We want to feel heard.
We want fairness.
We want harmony.
But instead, we find ourselves caught in a cycle of defending our position and trying to get someone else to acknowledge theirs.
What if we invited Raguel into those situations before deciding what the outcome should look like?
What if we asked him to help us see the situation through Divine Clarity rather than through our judgments, fears, or expectations?
Perhaps we would discover that a conversation needs to happen.
Perhaps an apology is needed.
Maybe a boundary needs to be established.
Or perhaps we'd recognize that the most loving thing we can do is simply release the situation and move forward.
I wish I had met Archangel Raguel 20 years ago, as I spent years and years defending myself in situations where I should have chosen my own peace.
Divine Justice isn't necessarily about someone winning and someone losing.
It's about restoring what has fallen out of balance.
And sometimes the greatest restoration happens within our own hearts.
The New Moon in Libra: An Invitation to Restore Balance
On October 10, we welcomed the New Moon in Libra.
In astrology, Libra is associated with relationships, partnerships, fairness, and balance.
New Moons are traditionally viewed as opportunities to set intentions and plant new seeds.
What a beautiful time to invite Archangel Raguel to help us examine the harmony within our lives!
Consider asking yourself:
Where am I giving more than I'm allowing myself to receive?
Where have I been sacrificing my truth simply to avoid conflict?
Is there a relationship that would benefit from greater understanding, forgiveness, or clearer boundaries?
Am I still holding a judgment about someone—or even about myself—that I'm ready to release?
And perhaps most importantly:
What would Divine Harmony look like in this situation?
Not necessarily what you want it to look like.
Not what someone else insists it should look like.
But what would truly restore fairness, balance, and harmony for the highest good of everyone involved?
Connecting with Archangel Raguel
This week, I invite you to call upon Raguel and ask for his assistance in restoring balance within your life.
Find a quiet place where you can sit comfortably.
Close your eyes and take several slow, deep breaths.
Imagine a beautiful light of purple, aquamarine, and pale blue gently surrounding you.
Allow yourself to relax into this beautiful energy.
Then call upon Raguel:
Beloved Archangel Raguel,
Please be with me now.
Surround me with your beautiful energies of Divine Justice, Fairness, Harmony, and Redemption.
Help me recognize where judgment, resentment, misunderstanding, or feelings of injustice may be creating disharmony within my life.
Show me the truth of these situations through Divine Clarity, Wisdom, and Understanding.
Assist me in releasing the emotional and energetic attachments that are no longer serving my highest good.
Help me restore balance where there has been imbalance, fairness where there has been injustice, and harmony where there has been discord.
Guide me in recognizing when forgiveness, reconciliation, healthy boundaries, or simply letting go will bring the greatest healing.
Help me stand confidently in my truth while extending compassion and understanding to others.
And assist me in embodying the Divine Harmony that already exists within me.
Thank you, Archangel Raguel, for your loving guidance and assistance.
And so it is.
Now sit quietly for a few moments.
Don't try to figure everything out.
Simply allow yourself to experience Raguel's energy.
You may feel a sense of peace.
Perhaps a situation will come to mind.
You might suddenly see another perspective.
Or you may recognize something you've been holding on to that you're finally ready to release.
Ask. Allow. Notice.
Remember, Divine Guidance is often repetitive.
Pay attention to the messages, conversations, insights, and Angel Winks that may appear throughout your week.
Sometimes the Harvest Is Peace
Last week, Archangel Haniel reminded us that Joy isn't something we attain.
Joy is who we truly are.
This week, Raguel invites us to recognize another beautiful truth.
Harmony isn't always something we create by changing the people or circumstances around us.
Sometimes harmony begins when we change our relationship with what we've experienced.
When we stop allowing past injustices to determine our present peace.
When we release the judgments that have kept us bound.
When we choose truth without resentment.
When we establish boundaries without guilt.
And when we allow forgiveness to free us, whether or not someone else ever changes.
As we continue through this beautiful season of harvest, remember that not everything we harvest is something we can see or hold.
Sometimes the greatest harvest is the peace that comes from finally releasing something we've carried for far too long.
You can honor the truth of what happened without continuing to carry its pain.
And perhaps that is one of the greatest gifts of Divine Harmony.
Love & Light,
Joelle St. Germaine
P.S. Is there an area of your life where you're ready to experience greater harmony? It might be a relationship, a family situation, something at work, or even the relationship you have with yourself. I'd love to hear what Archangel Raguel helps you recognize this week.
P.S.S. One of the beautiful things we explore in the Archangel Mastery™ course is how the Archangels work with us in so many different areas of our lives. While some Archangels may be more familiar to you, there are many others, like Raguel, whose guidance and support can be incredibly meaningful in our everyday experiences.
