The Archangels Who Have Walked Beside Me
As I've been preparing for my upcoming Meet Your Guardian Archangel class, I've found myself reflecting on just how many incredible Archangels have lovingly walked beside me throughout my life.
This week's newsletter image features Archangel Raphael serving as the Guardian Archangel of a nurse—a beautiful reminder that each of us has a unique relationship with the Archangels.
I have many friends who are healers, and it's interesting how often Archangel Raphael is their Guardian Archangel. One clue I often notice is their deep love of the color green, the beautiful healing color associated with Raphael.
Last week, I shared a picture of me with my Guardian Archangel, Archangel Michael.
I love all of the Archangels, but Michael truly has my heart.
Although I now recognize that he has been guiding and protecting me my entire life, I didn't realize until about fifteen years ago that we each have a Guardian Archangel.
I had always known I had Guardian Angels—loving companions who continually comforted, encouraged, and supported me. But I didn't yet understand that I also had a Guardian Archangel whose role was different.
My Guardian Archangel is Archangel Michael, and there have been many times when his intervention has literally saved my life. On one occasion, he took over driving my car. Another time, he physically pulled me backward and off my feet just as I was unknowingly walking into a dangerous situation while trying to help someone.
Those moments weren't gentle guidance.
They were direct intervention.
While rare, those experiences reminded me that our Guardian Archangels are not only loving guides but also powerful protectors when our soul's purpose on Earth is not yet complete.
As the years have gone on, I've come to know Michael as far more than my Guardian Archangel.
He has become a dear friend, trusted confidant, extraordinary teacher, and faithful guide.
One of the greatest surprises on my spiritual journey was discovering that while we each have a Guardian Archangel, we may also have other Archangels who work closely with us because of our soul's purpose, spiritual gifts, passions, and the work we've come here to do.
For me, those Archangels are Ariel and Zadkiel.
If you know me, you already know that purple is my color.
When I was little, nearly everything I owned had to be purple. Today, I still wear purple whenever I can, my bedroom is purple, and you'll find beautiful purple accents throughout my home.
It probably won't surprise you that I'm a Violet Ray being.
Archangel Zadkiel, together with Holy Amethyst, serves as the Archangel of the Violet Ray, which is both my soul ray and my life purpose ray. Looking back, it's easy to see how his loving guidance has always been woven throughout my life.
Archangel Ariel has also been with me for as long as I can remember.
Whose name means "Lion of God," Ariel has always appeared to me as a magnificent male lion. Ever since I was a little girl, I've felt a deep love for animals, nature, and especially our oceans, lakes, and rivers—all areas lovingly watched over by Ariel.
I've always found myself picking up litter, especially when I'm walking along the beach.
And every time I do, I feel the joyful presence of that beautiful lion beside me, as though she's smiling and saying, "Thank you for helping care for this beautiful planet."
So how did I know that Michael—not Ariel or Zadkiel—is my Guardian Archangel?
Years ago, I attended a class very similar to the one I'll be teaching on July 29th.
During one of the exercises, Archangel Michael stepped forward and lovingly introduced himself as my Guardian Archangel.
In that moment, so many experiences throughout my life suddenly made perfect sense.
It was as though the pieces of a puzzle had quietly fallen into place.
Since then, my relationship with Michael has continued to deepen, and my gratitude for his guidance, friendship, and loving protection has only grown.
One of the beautiful things I've learned is that Heaven is wonderfully collaborative.
While one Archangel lovingly serves as our Guardian Archangel, others often walk beside us because of our soul's purpose, passions, gifts, or the work we've come here to do.
